             abstract = "The aim of this paper was understood the relationship between 
                         spectral resolution with the burn areas. For this, we used a 1995 
                         flight of AVIRIS and correct the atmosphere effects and reduce 
                         radiance to surface reflectance by means the QUAC algorithm. After 
                         this, we resampling AVIRIS to TM5 and OLI spectral responses and 
                         determinate the Normalized Burn Ratio for each scene. The results 
                         shown the AVIRIS produce less burn area than OLI and TM5. The TM5 
                         overestimate area. At the 0.05 level, the all data were not 
                         significantly drawn from a normally distributed population, and we 
                         test the statistical similarity of TM5 vs OLI and TM5 vs AVIRIS by 
                         means Mann-Whitney test and in all cases, the distributions are 
                         significantly different. New studies to understood the influence 
                         of spectral resolution and burn area will be motivated.",
